The Thyroid Foundation of America may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement. Accordingly, you agree to review this agreement periodically, and your continued use of this site shall be deemed your acceptance of the modified agreement.

The Thyroid Foundation of America (TFA) was founded in 1985 by Dr. Lawrence C. Wood with a grant from two individuals whose mother died of thyroid cancer. A membership organization, TFA is supported by contributions. Information, support services, and referrals to thyroid specialists are free to all.

TFA seeks to ensure timely, accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and ongoing support for all individuals with thyroid disease.
